You searched the brand, so let’s talk about whether it fits
People who look up Covet & Mane by name usually aren’t guessing. You’ve seen the brand behind someone’s thick, glossy, natural-looking hair, and you want that same quality. Fair. It’s a beautiful line.
I’m certified in Covet & Mane, and after thirty years focused only on extensions, I can tell you both what it does well and when it’s not the right choice. That second part matters just as much.
What Covet & Mane hand-tied wefts actually are
Covet & Mane is a premium hand-tied weft brand. A weft is a thin curtain of hair; hand-tied means it’s tied by hand rather than machine-sewn, which keeps it slim and flexible. In practice, the weft gets sewn onto small beaded rows in your own hair, so it lays flat against your head and moves naturally.
What sets the brand apart is the hair itself and the color range. The hair is gorgeous and holds up over time, and the color selection makes a truly custom, seamless match much easier to achieve. When it’s done well, the volume looks like it grew there.
A great weft install lays so flat you forget it’s there. That’s the mark of both good hair and a careful hand.
Who it’s best for, and who it isn’t
Hand-tied wefts shine on hair with enough density to carry them. If you’ve got healthy hair and you want thick, flowing volume and length, this is a wonderful method, and Covet & Mane is a wonderful brand for it.
But here’s the honest part. Wefts add weight along a row, so they need surrounding hair strong enough to support them. If your hair is very fine or fragile, a weft can strain it, and in that case I’ll steer you toward a beaded weft variation or a gentler strand-by-strand method. I’d rather send you to the right method than sell you the one you searched for.
Why the certification counts
A hand-tied install is only as good as the rows underneath it and the hands tying them. Certification means I’ve been trained on Covet & Mane’s specific system, and years of doing it means I’ve learned how to place rows so they’re secure, comfortable, and invisible. That’s the difference between wefts you forget you’re wearing and wefts you can’t wait to take out.

Common questions
Are you certified in Covet & Mane?
Yes. Covet & Mane is one of nine methods I'm certified in, and it's a favorite when a client has the density to carry wefts beautifully. The hand-tied technique takes real training to install so it lays flat and lasts.
What makes Covet & Mane worth it?
It's a premium hand-tied weft brand known for gorgeous, natural hair that blends seamlessly. The wefts are thin and flexible, so they lay flat against your head and move like your own hair. The color range also makes custom matching much easier, which is a big part of a believable result.
Are hand-tied wefts right for fine hair?
Sometimes, but not always. Wefts add weight along a row, so they need enough surrounding density to carry safely. If your hair is very fine or fragile, I'll usually steer you toward a strand-by-strand method instead, and I'll tell you that honestly rather than sell you a weft that won't serve you.
